Please join photographer Pamela Mayers-Schoenberg on April 16th for the opening of her new show “When did it stop being fun?” The American Journal of Family Therapy recently reported that, “students in the early elementary school years are getting significantly more homework than is recommended by education leaders.” Pamela Mayers-Schoenberg couldn’t agree more. “I want to draw attention to this crisis for parents, educators and elected officials about how kids today are on this mad dash to the finish line. Many of them are in therapy or on medication because they have too much anxiety,” she says. Mayers-Schoenberg’s new photography exhibition at dnj Gallery hopes to shed light on the importance of kids being kids.
