(December 2, 2025) — Santa Monica Travel & Tourism (SMTT) today announced the launch of the 2025 Holiday Pass, a free, mobile-friendly experience built in partnership with Bandwango. Following the success of SMTT’s inaugural gamified pass introduced during LA Tech Week in October, this new seasonal venture invites residents and visitors to unlock curated holiday offers from Santa Monica restaurants, retailers, attractions, and more—right from their phones.

How the Holiday Pass Works
Now through Sunday, January 4, 2026, users can sign up for the free Holiday Pass and receive it instantly via SMS and email. Once activated, passholders can enjoy exclusive holiday discounts and unlock deals at Santa Monica restaurants, shops and attractions. They can also collect points to win prizes and take advantage of special offers on gifts, dining and winter activities all season long. Offers include percentage or dollar-based discounts, BOGO promotions, free items with purchase and more. The pass is entirely mobile, allowing visitors to check in or redeem offers on their phones, with no codes required.
How to Sign Up
Signing up is simple for users. They may visit explore.santamonica.com/holiday-pass to register for the free Holiday Pass. Once registered, the mobile pass will be delivered instantly via SMS and email, allowing to check in at participating locations, unlock exclusive offers and start collecting points toward holiday-themed rewards while exploring Santa Monica.
