Description: Join SMTT for the IPW 2024 Trade Show and Santa Monica Client Event in Los Angeles, CA.

U.S. Travel Association’s IPW will continue to reunite and rebuild the global travel industry in 2024, providing an in-person platform to conduct business and renew our relationships around the world. As the leading inbound travel trade show, past IPWs have generated more than $5.5 billion in future travel by connecting U.S. travel exhibitors with travel buyers and media to promote their product and negotiate future business, securing America’s position as a foremost global travel destination and showcasing the best of what the U.S. has to offer.

IPW 2024

This travel trade program will include:

  • Three days of pre-scheduled appointments with top international tour operators, receptive operators, and wholesalers
  • IPW organized networking events
  • Booth set-up and logistics pre-arranged by SMTT

SMTT will host our annual client appreciation event on Sunday, May 5, prior to show start, providing an opportunity to network and pamper clients and after 10 years running. This is an event our clients look forward to as part of their IPW experience.

Please note that the partner opportunities for the trade show are full and SMTT is no longer accepting partner sign-ups. Partner opportunities are still open for the Client Event.

This client event will include:

  • Santa Monica branded client event
  • Casual setting to connect with clients from top domestic and international markets

Participation is received on a first to register basis. To express your interest, please complete the registration form.

All opportunities are confirmed upon minimum partner participation. Your participation will be secured upon receipt of final payment and signed guidelines.

Fair Share Fees

Client Event Fee: $1,000
Partner Guidelines and payment must be completed upon receipt.

All airfare, accommodations, transportation and meals are the responsibility of the partner unless otherwise specified by SMTT. SMTT will provide recommendations on room block opportunities and flights as it is strongly encouraged that we all overnight in close proximity. Travel expenses are not included.

The following are included in your fair share partner fee:

  • Pre-marketing initiatives to clients and/or trade show attendees (where applicable) which may include direct mail pieces, e-newsletter highlights, logo inclusion on all collateral and invitations and printed marketing pieces
  • Collateral design and production
  • Event expenses such as client dinners, lunches, gifts, etc.
  • Delegation transportation to/from appointments and to/from designated hotel
  • Post trade show recap, client contact information and photos
  • Recommendations on room block opportunities and flights (if applicable)
  • Post-trade show, you’ll also receive photos from the trade show, meeting notes and client contact information
  • Post-mission, you’ll also receive photos from the mission, meeting notes and client contact information
