Santa Monica residents, businesses, and visitors can now stay informed about their emergency and non-emergency police service calls via text. When placing calls or sending texts to 9-1-1 or 310-458-8491, individuals will receive automated confirmation texts regarding their police requests and ongoing status updates. This new service is available in both English and Spanish. Please note that texts will not be sent for calls in progress or situations where sending a text message could pose safety concerns for those involved.
