Yoga for Kids is a class for your child to learn basic yoga poses, silly songs and simple breathing techniques. We nurture each child’s physical, emotional and social development through a variety of activities including, circle time, yogic movement and journaling. Each class is fun and encouraging, teaching young yogis about patience, strength, friendship, focus, confidence, motor coordination and body awareness. Studies show that starting yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that’s noncompetitive.
Your child will learn critical life skills that aren’t taught in classrooms! Yoga mats, bolsters, colored pencils and journals will be provided.
