As the world marks the one-year anniversary of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, City Garage will be presenting another evening of readings of short plays by Ukrainian writers as part of the Worldwide Ukrainian Play Readings Project, which is using the work of Ukrainian playwrights to raise humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine. To date, there have been more than 285 performances of 110 texts by 45 writers in 27 countries and 19 languages. Attendees are asked to make a minimum donation of $10 but encouraged to give more. 100% of proceeds will be distributed to charities working on the ground in Ukraine.
