Tu B’Av (Holiday of Love Event)

On Thursday, July 30th, students from The Kabbalah Centre Santa Monica will celebrate Tu B’Av. Tu B’Av is a unique holiday of connection. The literal meaning of this day is “the 15th day of the month of Leo.” It is a special astrological window in time that enhances the unification of two souls. The reason for this is that on this day, according to the kabbalistic calendar, there is an equal presence of the sun and the moon in the universe, sun representing male energy and moon representing female energy — which also corresponds to the spiritual and physical dimensions. This is why we call it the day of love. What is love if not an expression of oneness? On this evening we get the energetic and cosmic support to enhance our ability to connect to others.
