On Saturday, August 9th, from 10am – 12pm, The Los Angeles Drama Club presents a morning of youth oriented theater including interactive performances, workshops and games based on the works of Shakespeare. By decoding the language, improvising, and with role play, The LA Drama Club makes the universal themes of Shakespeare accessible to all ages. The organization has successfully built an artistic community of youth who, through the creative process of “putting on a play”, have found passion, purpose, and a place to gain self-worth from their collective accomplishments.
