If the mention of tie dye makes you think of summer camp, dyeing old t-shirts with rubber bands and Kool-Aid, you’re not alone! In this class, we’ll learn some more refined techniques and use higher-grade materials to create sophisticated, colorfast projects. We’ll cover how to use fiber reactive procion dyes, basic color theory for planning your project, and folding and tying techniques to create mandala and sunburst patterns, along with time-honored favorites like the vortex spiral.
