The Great Route 66 Centennial Convergence
Join artist, computer programmer, skateboarder, writer, Route 66 traveler, and YouTube personality Wasteland Firebird for a centennial journey down Route 66, ending (or beginning) at the Santa Monica Pier at 5pm, April 30, 2026. April 30 was the day that Cyrus Avery sent out the telegram declaring that the Route would be known as “66.”
