The Annual MixMatch Dance Festival is celebrating its 16th year of promoting accessible, professional dance to the Southern Californian Communities and beyond! Originating in 2006, MixMatch quickly became an annual performance favorite and is now entering its 16th year, rehousing their venue post-COVID 3 years ago to the acclaimed Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica.

Showcasing all forms of dance such as jazz, ballet/pointe, modern, contemporary, tap, belly, pole, lyrical, hip hop, folk, dance on film and much more, curious audiences can expect an evening packing a punch of excitement and energy. MixMatch aims to hook audiences looking for a fun, relaxed, exciting night out with the guarantee of leaving the theater completely captivated by at least one of the evening’s dance works!

Within the Dance Community, MixMatch has become an amazing outlet not only as a performance platform, but as a wonderful networking experience amongst choreographers and dancers. Consistent growth within the Dance Community is very important to the MixMatch Dance Festival, bringing together dance companies and artists from all backgrounds, across the U.S. presenting over 35 works, and continuing to grow each year!
