18th Street Arts Center is holding a performance by its 2016 Make Jazz Fellow Teddy Raven. Teddy, a former Fulbright Fellow, is a saxophonist, composer, and educator based in the Bay Area, CA. For his culminating performance, Teddy will present new music for jazz chamber ensemble featuring a Bulgarian women’s choir lead by legendary Tzvetanka Verimezova. Teddy is also joined by Andris Mattson (trumpet), Sam Gendel (bass clarinet), Nikos Syropoulos (piano), Garret Lang (pright bass), and Kevin Yokota (drums).
