Street Art Gallery Benefit

Beautify Earth , a non-profit public arts organization based in Santa Monica, Ca., will unveil the world’s first street art gallery featuring interchangeable and sellable art pieces, a brand new concept created by artist Blake Byers, on Friday October 16, 2015 from 7pm to 2am at TRiP Bar ( “The Best Neighborhood Music Venue” LA Weekly) in Santa Monica, Ca. The unveiling event will include an eclectic live musical line-up, with Beautify Earth’s very own founder, Evan Meyer, spinning and two award winning buskers Andrew Fisher and Katie Ferrara to start off the evening, followed by stellar performances by local rock band The Big Surprise, LA & NY hip hop/punk band Scotty The Kid, and San Diego based hip hop group Innate & EP. Led by BE Director Heather Rabun, the first mural installation by Blake Byers will be portraits of Slash, Steven Tyler, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, and Jim Morrison, carved in soundboard and painted. Installations at the street art gallery will rotate every 6 months. Proceeds from each piece sold will be split between the current artist and Beautify Earth, to fund an entire new mural in the community – a mural that keeps giving back! The unveiling event will be a gathering of some of the most influential movers and shakers among the art, music and public affairs communities, not to be missed!
