Santa Monica college’s March Concert showcases various sections of the orchestra, two outstanding soloists – harpist Liesl Erman and trumpeter Theo Pappas – and works by Vaughan Williams, Debussy, Gounod, Hummel, and Franz Liszt. May concert features SMC student soloists, plus Haydn’s colorful “Oxford” Symphony #92 in G Major. James Martin, Director.
