Santa Monica College’s Emeritus College Concert Band Spring Concert

The free concert will feature a selection of exhilarating works sure to please everyone in the family. Ample free parking will be available on the premises. Seating is on a first-arrival basis.
“The concert will present an eclectic collection of music tied together by a space theme,” said Emeritus College Concert Band Conductor Yosuke Miyoshi. On the program will be a variety of lively repertoire, including arrangements by John Philip Sousa, John Williams, Michael Giacchino, and Richard Strauss.

The Emeritus College Concert Band has thrilled listeners with its free concert series since 1979. The 60-member band is part of Santa Monica College’s acclaimed Emeritus College, established in 1975 to offer free classes and special programs to older adults.
