Santa Monica Playhouse Presents “Make It!?”

A stranger on a train. A coyote in a Starbucks. A refugee in a garden. Disparate lives woven together in a pastiche of performance art, poetry, physical theatre and mime as they come together in a desperate attempt to make it in this vast city we call Los Angeles.
MAKE IT!? is a ShortBurst® Theatre Collaboration in which professional artists, tyro performers and members of the community at large have pooled their resources, their time, and their concerns, resulting in a sometimes tantalizing, sometimes terrifying look at our search for fulfillment and the desperate desire for completion that hovers at the edge of our awareness, always just out of sight and out of reach. To create? To succeed? To love? How will you MAKE IT!?
MAKE IT!? will be performed at Santa Monica’s renowned Miles Memorial Playhouse for three performances only (Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5 at 8pm; Sunday, November 6 at 3pm). As the closing event of the Binge Free Festival (BFF), Santa Monica’s first fringe theatre festival, all seats are free.
