Rustic Canyon’s Guest Chef Series Continues: On July 30 & 31, we’re welcoming our talented friend Liwei Liao, the executive chef behind The Joint Eatery in Sherman Oaks, to come and cook with us. Over the past few years, Liwei has become celebrated amongst the culinary community for his beautiful, dry-aged fish—a technique more commonly found in Japan and which dates back centuries. It’s truly an art form, and one that lends a unique tenderness, texture and flavor. He’s so skilled at what he does, that restaurants around LA and SoCal have been clamoring to get dry-aged fish from him, including Rustic Canyon and Birdie G’s.
