Santa Monica Playhouse Binge Festival: ROAST BEEF

Hilarious comedians JJ Whitehead, Griff Pippen, David Gborie, Nicole Aimee Schreiber, Jake Johanssen entertain and delight you in this exciting FREE evening of comedy, hosted by two hilarious Brits – Eric Lampaert and Chris Martin, part of the 2nd Annual Binge Free Festival of Theatre – your new BFF! Eric Lampaert is a French-British actor/comedian who’s been touring internationally for 9 years in both languages, performing all over the world, including festivals in Edinburgh, Montreal, and Johannesburg. He won Best International Act at the ComediHa Festival in Quebec, and has appeared in Ricky Gervais’s “Life’s Too Short” and the movies “Stoner Express”, “Moonwalkers” and Luc Besson’s “Valerian.” Eric regularly hosts “Set List” and “Comedians Cinema Club”(which he also created), at Nerdmelt in Los Angeles. Chris Martin is an English actor/comedian who tours the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. His 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival show “The One and Only “Chris Martin” was nominated for Best Comedy Show at the Amused Moose Comedy Awards. Chris has recently appeared on “Live at the Comedy Store” (Comedy Central UK), “Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled” and ITV’s “Horrible Science.” He hosts two podcasts which you can listen to anywhere in the world (probably excluding North Korea).
ROAST BEEF is FREE as part of the Second Annual Santa Monica Playhouse Binge Festival of Theatre (October 16 – 29), offering over 4 dozen plays, workshops and an overflowing toy-box of special family-oriented events, thanks to generous grants from the City of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Arts Commission, Pearl and Bill Bordy, the Cotkin Family and Playhouse PALS.
