The Westside Repair Café returns to the Camera to connect folks with broken household items to volunteers who will demonstrate repairs – diverting goods from the landfill and increasing community skills. Bring your small household goods and see if their useful lives can be extended! Please RSVP to give us a sense of how many people to expect but note that repairs are made first come, first served.
Drop off larger items curbside right out front before parking. No gas powered appliances allowed onsite. If you know how to fix something please send email to ourtimebank@gmail.com; they welcome volunteers!
Volunteer-staffed repair tables include:

Special events: Seed exchange with Christy the GardenNerd and Practical 3D Printing with (Santa Monica Library) Librarian Kelly Wortham, others TBA.
Note for bicyclists: the Santa Monica Bike Center’s mechanic will be on hand to help change tires, give advice and do short repairs; for long repairs and from-scratch assembly please patronize your local bike store.
