“Once in a Lifetime” chronicles the misadventures of a vaudeville group that wants to cash in on the new talkies, and heads to Hollywood.
Written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman – and the first of eight plays they collaborated on – “Once in a Lifetime” satirizes the film industry and its power over us. The play’s story is as timely today as it was when originally written. The SMC production is directed by Janie Jones.
