The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica presents the second event of the National Geographic Live series during The Broad Stage’s 2018-19 Season – Into the Arctic Kingdom with photographer, Florian Schulz, who takes incredible photos of the Arctic Circle, on December 13 & 14 at 7:30pm. The event includes a post-show Q&A with Schulz.
Schulz’s multi-year quest to document the Arctic took him to the ends of the Earth while camping for weeks in jarring winter conditions and accompanying traditional Inuit hunters all to get an intimate look at life in the Arctic. There, Schulz tracked families of polar bears, followed the vast caribou herds, and captured the Northern Lights in stunning detail. Through breathtaking imagery, Schulz takes audiences on a legendary journey into the Arctic kingdom with a special focus on the Arctic Refuge, one of the world’s last great wilderness.
