Le Creuset Announces First Southern California Factory-to-Table Sale May 2-5
Le Creuset has announced that its Factory-to-Table event series for 2019 will kick off with its first-ever event in Santa Monica, CA, at the Barker Hangar with sale sessions on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 5, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a special VIP shopping event on Thursday, May 2, from 3:30 to 9 p.m.
Each shopping session will feature exclusive discounts on a vast selection of the premium cookware brand, including limited-edition colors and rare shapes and styles. Tickets, now available for purchase in two-hour shopping sessions here, are $40 for the Thursday VIP shopping event, and $15 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with online pre-registration required. Le Creuset will donate a majority of ticket sale proceeds from the Factory-to-Table events to select non-profit partners.
“We’re excited to bring our Factory-to-Table Sales Event to the West Coast for the first time ever and are thankful to have the support of our loyal Le Creuset fans and our retail teams here in Santa Monica and the Los Angles Metro area to ensure this is our biggest event yet,” said Diane Foster, Le Creuset VP of Retail. “In just a few years, we are proud to say that we’ve been able to donate over $100,000 to regional non-profit partners with these events, and are committed to ensuring this impact continues to grow both locally and nationally in 2019.”
Shopping for a Worthy Cause
Le Creuset has teamed up with Meals on Wheels America to support seniors facing isolation and hunger. A portion of proceeds from the ticket sales from this year’s events will be donated to Meals on Wheels America and a select local charity partner in each region.
For the Santa Monica event, After-School All-Stars, which helps students succeed in school and life by providing free, comprehensive afterschool programming and transformative opportunities to low-income youth, will benefit from ticket sale donations along with Meals on Wheels America. Representatives from both After-School All-Stars and a local Meals on Wheels program will be on site to educate shoppers on their missions and about ways to get involved.
The VIP Party Starts Early
The Factory-to-Table event kicks off Thursday evening, May 2, with two special VIP shopping sessions at Barker Hangar from 3:30 to 6 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m. The VIP sessions are offered to the public at a premium ticket price of $40, which includes parking, and will feature early sale access, mystery boxes, demos and meet-and-greets with top chefs in the Los Angeles area, live music, drinks, bites and more. Hospitality Insider Access
Hospitality industry members will have the chance to take advantage of exclusive deals on Friday, May 3. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., chefs and other members of the industry will receive an extra 15 percent off, on top of existing discounts with proof of ID, such as a business card or paystub.
