HBO Max Celebrates Summer Movies Premieres on the Santa Monica Pier

HBO Max takes over the Santa Monica Pier to celebrate the premiere of much anticipated summer block-busters including Space Jam: A New Legacy and The Suicide Squad, in theaters and on HBO Max. Stop by Pacific Park Thursday, July 15 through Sunday, July 18th to join in on the fun! HBO Max has arranged to turn the world-famous Pacific Wheel gondolas bright purple with characters and images from the upcoming movie releases, what they are calling the “Ferris Reel”. In the evening, the Pacific Wheel will be lit with a special light program featuring more icons and characters from the soon-to-be-released movies. When you look to the sky this weekend you may see a 90ft tall Bugs Bunny looking back!
You can also win fun Looney Tunes or DC plush and prizes at many of Pacific Park’s midway games, pick up a bright purple cloud of cotton candy, or try an all-new flavor of Dippin’ Dots – all to celebrate these fun summer movies. HBO Max will be surprising a few lucky guests with free rides and games throughout the weekend, so keep an eye out for their street team out on the pier and surrounding area.
