Hands on History: Free Children’s Workshop
This event has expired. Please visit the Events Calendar for current listings.
Join us for a fun and informative activity as we craft a Ferris Wheel Saturday, January 25, at 11am.. This Month’s theme focuses on the Santa Monica Pier.
Children and their parents are invited to this free series occurring on select Saturdays from 11am to noon throughout the year. Each session includes a brief, age-appropriate history lesson in the galleries followed by a craft or activity.
Each workshop is engaging and educational for elementary age (5 – 11 years) children. Topics for the workshops rotate to feature seasonal lessons and activities.
RSVP is requested and also available at the door. Each workshop is free of charge.
By creating something hand-made related to history topics, children create memories based on their history lessons. Families can expect a fun-filled learning hour at the Museum!
