Saturdays January 6, 13, 20, and 27
The premise is simple: pick a project, work on it every day in January, then show your work the following month in a big group show! Join folks around the country who are making January their Fun-A-Day month: here led by Amy Bauer of Dreameco Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/funadayla). Make it fun and make it small enough that you can keep going with your daily practice no matter what January brings into your life. A painting, a song, a photo, a poem, an illustrated word, a postcard, a dance, a drawing, a painted rock, a story, a melody, a video, a needlework, a quilt square, a sculpture! Every day, one a day in January. Weekly Saturday morning check-ins with Amy will keep you inspired – you can bring works in progress or just chat with fellow Fun-A-Dayers here at the Camera. Or just make the commitment, work at home, and bring it all in February for the group show. Fun-a-Day was started by Nick Lally of the Art Clash Collective in Baltimore in 2004 and debuted in LA in 2014. Now Fun-A-Day is a worldwide phenomenon! Make your commitment at http://ow.ly/GAN830gUc5R, and/or RSVP to the exhibit of everyone’s work on Saturday, February 10 at https://coalfunaday2018.eventbrite.com/
