Stargazers celebrating Independence Day are invited to Santa Monica’s glamorous Hotel Shangri-La this July 4th to enjoy dazzling poolside terrace dining and delicious BBQ treats. This year, the art-deco hotel will hold its annual 4th of July celebration on Thursday, July 4th from noon to 6pm in The Courtyard. Guests will be treated to a fired-up BBQ menu, including Kobe Beef Burgers, Marinated Flank Steak, Vegetable Skewers, Homemade Potato Chips, and more, along with a family-friendly pool party thrown in for some fun in the sun.
Hotel Shangri-La’s Independence Day BBQ menu includes a number of items grilled on an open flame, including Marinated Skirt Steak ($24) and Chicken Breasts ($20), Grilled Chicken Wings ($16) and Hot Dogs ($16). Burger fans will flock to the Build Your Own Kobe Beef Burger station to enjoy a succulent burger sandwiched between a brioche bun and topped with a choice of Brown Sugar or Pineapple BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles ($22). Vegetable Skewers ($10), Corn on the Cob ($10), Guacamole ($12) and Homemade Potato Chips ($6) round out the selection.
The event is open to the public. Guests not staying at the hotel can purchase a pool day pass for $25 and would need to spend a minimum of $25 each person on food and beverage.
