Get in the spirit of the season and celebrate Halloween and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at Heal the Bay Aquarium with a “fintastic” Halloween and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration. The Aquarium, located beach level of the Santa Monica Pier, has spooky, family-friendly activities planned both days.
Visit our Dorothy Green Room for our new, expanded glow-in-the-dark deep-sea experience, tip toe (if you dare!) through our marine animal artifact graveyard and create colorful Día de los Muertos crafts and masks. Face painting and spooky story times are scheduled throughout the weekend as well.
All ghosts and goblins are invited to join a 3pm parade on Sunday (October 27). Stepping off in front of the Aquarium, the procession will make its way along the Pier to trick-or-treat from Pier businesses.
Schedule of events:
Saturday, Oct. 26 @ 2pm: Scary Story Time
Sunday, Oct. 27 @ 3pm: Santa Monica Pier Costume Parade & Trick-or-Treat
Sunday, Oct. 27 @ 3:30pm: Sunday Shark Feeding Presentation
