Concert: Celebrating the Heritage of Lithuanian Jewish (Litvak) Music

The Consulate General of Lithuania in Los Angeles cordially invites you to enjoy an evening of live Litvak music featuring the musical program AEROGRAM. It will mark the upcoming 2020 as the Year of the Vilna Gaon and the History of the Lithuanian Jews. A short video and stories will provide a glimpse into daily life in Vilna – “Jerusalem of the North”.
The programme will include a collection of jewels of Litvak music by Aaron Copland, Leopold Godowsky, George Gershwin, Joseph Achron, Jascha Heifetz, Vyacheslav Ganelin, Anatolijus Šenderovas, covering over a hundred years of inspiration, creative energy and musical blessing.
TIME: Opening reception starts at 6:30 pm.
