Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony
In honor of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth in December 1770, Roger Kalia is hosting a Watch Party of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony on his Facebook page. The Watch Party will start with an introduction by Roger and then will feature a full performance of the Ninth Symphony, which was the final symphony composed by Beethoven between 1822 and 1824. Throughout the performance, Roger will be in the chat section providing interesting and unique facts about the work as well as different musical aspects to listen for. People signed into Facebook can ask questions and add their commentary too! The watch party will conclude with a short piece celebrating the Christmas holiday.
