Drop by during Repair Cafe as Echo Park Film Center members teach how to make flipbooks, thaumatropes, viewmaster reels and kaleidoscopes as part of their monthlong project, “I’ll be Your Mirror,” at the Camera Obscura. Workshop Facilitators: Emett Casey, Paolo Davanzo, Lisa Marr, Shauna McGarry, Beaux Mingus and Gina Napolitan.
Established in 2001, Echo Park Film Center is a non-profit media arts organization that inspires, educates, activates and empowers using community cinema as a catalyst.
