“Being With You” Gala Honoring Frances and Smokey Robinson

Legendary R&B singer Smokey Robinson and his wife Frances will be honored by the New West Symphony at the “Being With You” Gala on January 29 at Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica. Prior to the Gala, Mr. Robinson will be performing with the New West Symphony at Barnum Hall, narrating “A Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland. $300 includes one ticket for 4pm concert and 6pm Gala.
Former members of “The Supremes,” Scherrie Payne and Lynda Laurence, and the former member of “Tony Orlando and Dawn,” Joyce Vincent, will be honoring Frances and Smokey Robinson by performing a “Tribute to Smokey” at the Gala. The Robinsons will be honored for their extraordinary leadership in the entertainment industry, philanthropy and commitment to the performing arts. Proceeds from the event will support the New West Symphony’s orchestra and its community outreach and education efforts.
