Join Santa Monica Library for an intriguing and entertaining conversation between writers Curtis Chin, author of Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant, his memoir about growing up as a gay Chinese American kid in 1980s Detroit, and Jeff Yang, author of The Golden Screen: The Movies that Made Asian America, a history of Asian images in cinema and how they’ve shaped us, talk about childhood icons and youthful role models. A book sale and signing follows.
