Once the site of a grand 110-room mansion designed by architect Julia Morgan for media tycoon William Randolph Hearst and actress Marion Davies, this “hot spot” on Santa Monica’s Gold Coast drew guests ranging from Charlie Chaplin and Greta Garbo to Winston Churchill. Take a deep dive into the rich history of the site from the 1920s to present day. Tours are free and available on a walk-up basis.
