This poetic portrait of hero worship gone bad has attracted a cult following for good reason – it’s one of the best Westerns of the last 30 years. Young Robert Ford (Oscar nominee Casey Affleck) is thrilled when he finally gets to ride with legendary outlaw Jesse James (Brad Pitt). But this new member of James’ gang soon is disillusioned by the difference between the man and the myth. Featuring Oscar-nominated cinematography by Roger Deakins, music by Nick Cave and strong supporting performances by Sam Rockwell, Jeremy Renner and Sam Shepard.
