Saturday, September 11 marks 20 years since the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., and Shanksville, PA. 2,977 perished that day. Of those killed, 343 were FDNY Firefighters and 71 were Law Enforcement Officers. The public is invited to attend the or watch the live stream on the Santa Monica Fire Department (www.facebook.com/santamonicafd, www.facebook/santamonicapd) and City’ of Santa Monica’s (www.facebook.com/cityofsantamonica) Facebook accounts.
