The Director of Communications is a new, senior-level team member who will be responsible for managing and expanding SMTT’s communications, brand, and community efforts. The person filling this position is a sharp-minded and persuasive verbal and written communicator who skillfully directs our external representation and relishes the opportunity to strategically reach and engage with a variety of stakeholders, from philanthropic partners to international, national, state, and local media, supporters, stakeholders and the general public.
The Senior Administrative Assistant has cross departmental responsibilities that include general administrative support, checking/distributing the mail, managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings with partners via phone and email, registering for events, travel reservations, general administrative support as directed.
The role of this position is to provide outstanding customer service, administrative support and Santa Monica knowledge to customers in Santa Monica and those potentially interested in visiting Santa Monica. Duties include accurately representing SMTT products and services from all industry sectors and encouraging visitors to extend their stay in our destination.
