Santa MoniCARES Donates $8,000 To Santa Monica Queer Prom

Santa MoniCARES is an event sponsor for Santa Monica Queer Prom at Annenberg Community Beach House on June 25

SANTA MONICA, Calif., (June 25, 2021) – Santa Monica Travel & Tourism’s nonprofit foundation Santa MoniCARES is sponsoring Santa Monica Queer Prom with $8,000 to assist with the organization of this year’s themed event “Enchanted Forest Masquerade Ball” at the Annenberg Community Beach House on Friday, June 25 from 7-10 p.m.

“Santa Monica Travel & Tourism and Santa MoniCARES are proud to be part of Queer Prom and Annenberg’s very first hosted event since the pandemic,” said Evan Edwards, Chief Operating Officer at Santa Monica Travel & Tourism. “We are excited to help give the attendees a night to remember and we’ve tried to elevate their prom to a level they’ve never experienced before.”

Santa MoniCARES joined other organizations to help make the now sold out, Queer Prom possible including the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) from Santa Monica High School, the Church in Ocean Park, the City of Santa Monica and Santa Monica Travel & Tourism.
