Join the Santa Monica Police Activities League at Santa Monica Pier for the 4th Annual Rick Crocker 5K. The Rick Crocker 5K is held to remember Rick’s dedication and honor his commitment to PAL. Officer Rick Crocker was a 10-year veteran of the Santa Monica Police Department and a MarineCorps Reserve Officer who was killed while serving his country in Iraq on May 26, 2005. Officer Crocker’s last assignment with the SMPD was serving the Police Activities League, where he mentored the most vulnerable youth in our community.
