LAist top-19 pick of cool things to do in L.A. March 2017, top-12 pick NY week 2016, and top-20 pick three months in a row n 2016! With two awesome new readers this month…
We all know what happened after Amy poured her heart out to her diary about her undying 9th grade love for Jay Stone and how badly she wished he’d ask her out. Nothing much, really. But what if Amy got the courage to talk to him at school? What if he liked her back? Or ignored her then made out with her secretly?!!!
At Improv Diary Show, you get to find out as two BRAVE people read their teen diaries. Their DIARIES! And improvisers turn their sacred teen dreams into hilarious nightmares. BOOM!
That’s right, the past is back. And training bras, heartthrobs and beer bongs live on…
Some of our diarists have famous credits and some have famous diary entries! Previous and upcoming readers have graced the small screen, the big screen and all the other screens, stages, catwalks, bookstores, podcasts and more as actors, comedians, improvisers, writers, directors, composers, musicians, editors, models, podcasters, location managers, authors and the list goes on. They’re also super courageous parents, teachers, coaches, accountants, neighbors, REGULAR PEOPLE bearing their raw souls!
But if you insist, we’ll shout out some fame: Epic Rap Battles of History, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CMT’s Still the King with Billy Ray Cyrus, Netflix hit series Club de Cuervos, Scrubs, Everybody Hates Chris, The X’s, Comedy Central’s Not Safe With Nikki Glaser, Penn & Teller: Bullshit, Chapelle’s Show, Henry Danger, Family Guy, American Dad, CSI, The West Wing, Robert Altman’s O.C. and Stiggs, E! Denise Richards, BET’s Next, Mission IMPROVable, John Candy: Comic Spirit, Ford models and MORE!!!
