Grilled Cheese and Beer Night at Andrew’s Cheese Shop

Andrew’s Cheese Shop’s Grilled Cheese & Beer night is a family-style event that has been our most popular and sells out quickly. Over the course of roughly two hours, we’ll take you through four different pairings of grilled cheese and beer combinations, and then a unique beer float with vanilla ice cream for dessert.  Our cheeses are always changing, but here is an example of our pairings:

• McAdam’s extra sharp cheddar soaked in Miller High Life atop a slice of seven-grain bread and paired with Corsendonk Apple White
• Lincolnshire Poacher and Quickes oak-smoked cheddar atop a slice of harvest bread and paired with Meantime India Pale Ale
• Pesto, prosciutto, Fontina d’Aosta, Baby parmigiano atop a slice of olive bread and paired with La Fin du Monde
• Muenster Gerome on a baguette and paired with Allagash Trippel

This is a nice, casual way to spend an evening and beer and grilled cheese sandwiches indeed make good pairings. Also, Andrew is happy to answer any cheese, beer or just general food and wine related questions all night and he definitely is a fountain of information.
