Lidia got her Master’s Degree in Architecture in Uruguay. She immigrated to Los Angeles with her family in 1985. She felt the need to pursue her passion for design, color and form, as she continued her studies in Graphic Design at UCLA.
Lidia started to explore different mediums in which to express more in depth her love for the visual arts. She found mixed media, and developed her own style. She uses metals, fabric, acrylics and natural objects that represent her rich and diverse background.
The combination of complex textures and strong contrasts of color and materials, defines Lidia’s approach to life.
