The Santa Monica History Museum is excited to announce it will hold a special celebration to honor the 141st anniversary of the city of Santa Monica from on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Santa Monica History Museum. The celebration will include free sweet treats for museum visitors, museum admission for 50 cents, and all visitors will be entered in a drawing for a 1975 Santa Monica centennial coin! The original lots in Santa Monica were auctioned off to the public in July of 1875 – 141 years ago! Museum admission, normally $10 for general admission, will be 50 cents, the price that it would have been in 1875.
