On October 1, everyone is encouraged to bike, bus, train or walk their way to COAST, a free, engaging and fun way to explore their city.
COAST isn’t a race or a sporting event, but rather the chance to discover Santa Monica at eye level on foot, bike, scooter, stroller, roller blades, skateboard, wheelchair or any of the other myriad of options available when we are car free.
COAST engages the community through experiential mobility, sustainability and art zones. You’ll find that local businesses, organizations, community groups, and City departments are actively involved in this citywide event. Discover local food, music, shops, culture, dance and games with family and friends.
