太平洋摩天轮“7月4日”250周年庆典灯光秀

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will celebrate Independence Day and kick off America’s 250th birthday commemoration with a special patriotic lighting program on the iconic Pacific Wheel Ferris wheel. From July 2 through July 5, the nine-story Ferris wheel will illuminate the coastline with a dazzling 90-foot-tall animated American flag, dynamic red, white, and blue light displays, and custom America 250-inspired animations honoring the nation’s semiquincentennial. The Pacific Wheel will join landmarks across Southern California in celebrating the Fourth of July while helping launch the nationwide countdown to America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

Independence Day in the United States is celebrated annually on July 4th and commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the 13 American colonies were no longer subject to the monarchy of Britain and were united, free, and independent states. July 4th is commonly celebrated with fireworks, parades, backyard barbecues, picnics at the beach, organized civic ceremonies, and much more.
