“Lookin’ for a Cure” steps from the Pacific Ocean this year. Join A Cure in Sight and USC on Saturday, September 28th to walk or run this 5k. They will be taking steps to find a cure for a rare eye cancer, ocular melanoma. Ocular Melanoma is estimated by the American Cancer Society to have roughly 3000 new cases each year. Here in Southern California, USC is hard at work to monitor and treat patients with Ocular Melanoma risks, or who are experiencing metastatic disease.
