Marine Park Community Garden Grand Opening

Join as we celebrate the grand opening of Santa Monica’s newest community garden at Marine Park on Saturday, November 5th from 9am – 12pm. The City is excited to welcome the fifth garden to the Community Garden program and expand the City’s urban agriculture. The Marine Park Community Garden will include individual garden beds, a communal growing space, rainwater harvesting, community composting and dwarf fruit trees. Come join us as we roll up our sleeves and start planting. Learn more with compost demonstrations and even inoculate your own worm bin with a few little red wigglers. Tours will be conducted throughout the event. There will be refreshments, kids activities, giveaways and a raffle for fruit trees.
