Jimi Hendrix Birthday Celebration

The Black Rock Coalition LA will celebrate the life, legacy and birthday of Jimi Hendrix on Friday Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. at The Trip in Santa Monica, CA.

Experience an evening of music, a festive social gathering and history, all orbiting around the cultural icon. Friends, fans and musicians will pay homage to his life and artistry, through jubilant live performance and spirited oration. The event will feature trivia, prizes and special guests including members of Arthur Lee & Love, P-Funk, Fishbone, King’s X and  more. This is a 21 & over show – $10 at the door.

This charity non-profit event also heralds the re-launch of the Los Angeles Chapter of The Black Rock Coalition, who promote awareness of the contributions of black artists in rock and roll music.
