Safe Streets 17th Street Bike Lane Launch Event

Join a free community celebration and ribbon-cutting for the new and improved 17th Street & Michigan Ave. bike lane project on Sat., Dec. 2nd at 1610 Colorado Avenue (Metro Station Parking Lot). This event includes free donuts, coffee, and hot cocoa from DK’s Donuts, live performances from the SaMo High School Marching Band, Academia de Danza BFFM, and LA Jugglers, plus bike-themed workshops from Santa Monica Spoke and reDiscover Center, with remarks from Mayor Gleam Davis, Chief of Police and Director of Transportation, along with guided bike tours along the bike lane, and giveaways.
