Have you heard of the August Postcard Poetry Festival? Started in 2007 by Paul Nelson and Lana Ayers, the annual postcard chain prompts writers around the world to commit to writing 31 original poems onto 31 postcards to mail to each other throughout the month of August. In honor of the upcoming festival, Terry Holzman reads from an anthology of poems created during this process, then leads a workshop for those interested in joining the August postcard poetry exchange. Anyone can participate! Booksigning to follow.
