HIS DARK MATERIALS Santa Monica Library Pop-Up Event from HBO

Want to be among the first to watch HBO’s new drama series HIS DARK MATERIALS, an adaptation of Philip Pullman’s award-winning book trilogy of the same name? HBO and the Santa Monica Public Library are hosting free, advance screenings as part of a special pop-up event ahead of the HBO debut on Monday, November 4th at 9pm ET/PT. Pop-Up events are free and open to the public; seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis for each screening.
Along with HIS DARK MATERIALS first episode sneak previews, guests can participate in themed scavenger hunts, a photo opportunity with life-sized Iorek, and daemon-matching quizzes. Guests who successfully complete the scavenger hunt will receive the newly re-released “The Golden Compass” (first book of the trilogy) paperback, while supplies last.
